like so many things the answer is spiritual warfare- something He has to drag his rebellious children into kicking and screaming by allowing things to get so bad that they are forced to start awakening from thier beloved deep stupor

I've never been able to get longs to my knowledge to understand that noisy bashers are crafters (whether they work for hedge funds or mm's or shorters-thus during the swamp era they were aided) w the adversaries purpose to steal, kill and destroy (john 10:10)- not just finances and companies - but to capture longs to join the darkside-which i've seen on the boards ever since i started reading the boards-even person i was training to be an asst mod became a crafter bc of all the bashing

the purpose is to get ppl to desire supernatural power and since ppl have already rejected greater godly power they make a contract w the adversary for demonic power
the adversary wants to totally control the discussion on this as well as everything else,so in secular society which is totally controlled by craft,if a xtian mentions craft in a non-new age context -its to the asylum or the burning at the stake for him
ppl forget how saturated political speeches and idioms were with xtianity before the 70's- a playboy crafter occupying the highest secular office in the land read eisenhowers speech re ww2 on the 50th anniversary of the speech --as a crafter -all bad guys seem to be good orators -but u could see he had no idea what he was saying- he didnt know what the words meant!!- typical of the transition from a xtian society to a new age society
xtian books were removed en mass from secular bookstores mid 80's and replaced en mass w witchcraft /new age books -witchcraft is the largest and fastest growing segment of the new age
movies as always are used like all media to proselytize the ignorant rebellious masses
the star wars guy lucas purposefully used star wars to promote his new age agenda,reducing the biblical/xtian reality of 2 very personal opposing forces of God vs satan (with God only allowing satan on a leash to test the ppl) to equal impersonal opposing forces,neither of which could be permanently defeated-the new age yin and yang
now many of the continuing spate of dark religious movies dont even mention God /the good side any more-as in the charmed series and the new? legacy series- God has been replaced by witches- w the bad force still being demons- so now the adversary is so power hungry he has eliminated God in the minds of ppl who get their theology from such media -and controls both the yin and yang
witches cant become witches without making a contract w the devil to acquire demons which they believe and are told will enable them to control hypnotize ppl at will- well, thats what demons do (ppl have already consented to the craft manipulation via their unrecognized rebellion),but once crafters make the contract,the crafters mind is held hostage in a prison helplessly as a wallflower (the very pre-exisiting condition which drove their drive for demonic power- their rebellion rejecting much greater godly power-1 john 4:4)

and that very night i wrote a 12 pp essay under the inspiration of the spirit warning him of the many subliminal demonic tenets of the star wars theology
but as always he rejected his time of visitation out of hand
this is an example of how the adversary works thru ppls unrecognized rebellion-they reject the existence of the Acts 13 sent one -whose main purpose, as in biblical days, is to warn the ppl,with an emphasis on warning them about false doctrine
but if the adversary has caused them to reject the present existence of sent ones,its easy for the adversary to then operate thru the ppls rebellion to take offense at the 'human' who is warning them (since they reject the idea that God is behind the warnings and dont understand the sent one is only obeying the call) and replace Gods warning with offense at, "the no human is going to judge me",ignoring that the office which paul also filled is called to judge under the power of the holy spirit
part of their incredible ignorance of scripture is confusing prophecy w the office of the sent one-those are 2 separate things
all holy spirit filled xtians can prophesy as the holy spirit wills (acts 2 ; eagerly desire the greater gifts such as prophecy-1 cor 14:1) and prophecy can include warnings -the exhortation element
but to be a sent one u not only have to have the gift of prophecy(1 cor 12:10-which is often only a very small part of the call)
