Your post reminded me of a prior post I read at one point but did not have time to respond to. There have been comments made regarding the presiding judge in the SEC case stepping down from the role of Chief (not referring to you, Gooey).
Judge Wolf simply stepped down into the role of Senior Judge, as set forth in this press release:

He continues to be on both the SEC suit and the derivative (strike) suit, at least as of this date. IMO, he is a very wise and accomplished judge, so that is not a bad thing at all. We want a smart judge on any case that affects JBII.
