Two Presidential assassination attempts, an attempt on the life of a former CIA Director, the former First Lady, Sec. of State and Presidential Candidate who won the most votes in the last election, the former attorney General, an African American Congresswoman, an esteemed First Lady and possibly the former Vice President and the office of a major news network where hundreds of innocent people work and the president launches into a tirade about negative news stories that compare him to some 'historical evil figure' we all know as Adolph Hitler.
Trump is right, he is not Hitler. He is a inept bigot who wasted his father's fortune so quickly that his father, not yet in his grave, had his sister vow to keep the remainder of the fortune from him.
He is a stone cold fuck up. As the country swivels its collective head from one unfathomable low to the next, several motifs continue to reveal in the background.
1. The Vichy, gutless Trump backers who are not part of the Kool aid drinking idiot gang who populate his rallies continue to say they "like his policies, but not some of the things he says and does..." as if his sociopathic response to any human suffering is common among caring adult human beings.
2. The idiot gang, nudged by Rush Limbaugh, the washed up, self hating drug addict who's sent his maid out to buy his fix every night for years has concocted an idiot story line that will collapse with the arrest of the lunatic who mailed the bombs.
3. Members of the White House crew will leak news of the chaos within to soothe their guilty consciences.
4. The economic policies of the idiot son of a racist real estate slum landlord will ruin the 8 year run of economic fortune that began in the second year of President Obama's first term.
Behold the stock market as it reacts to the disruption of the US manufacturing chain resulting from the tariff and trade war begun by Trump. As the Chinese listen in on Trumps late night cheeseburger rants to his dreary friends they know that they can survive a little belt tightening here and there.
A country that boasts "Thousand Year Eggs" and had dynasties before the time that half of Trump's supporters think the world began may not be a good group to play economic chicken with.
Watching Trump is like staring at the implosion of a sky scraper that crumbles into a sink hole and keeps sinking and sinking without end.
He is incapable of anything but destruction, mayhem and chaos. Like a bizarro Chauncy Gardener from Being There, his instincts are all exactly wrong and always lead to disaster. He is a mega system test for our country.
I hope it can survive.
