Mark was emphatic revs close Sept/Oct
SO for him I am sure he is expecting it any day.
By saying in August that he expected revenues by Sept/Oct at the latest he certainly was being emphatic in his expectation of what he believed based on the news ACS told him , I don't think he was issuing a public guarantee that by Oct the money would be in.
Now in by august, Kay is told revenues are close to happening very soon, any month, but logically by saying august or october he was guessing ,should happen next 2 months, at the latest, not guaranteeing , it could happen in Sept or Oct, if he absolutely knew it was Oct, why not just say october instead of adding sept ? Because he felt it could happen in September as well.
I don't think he felt at the time, it would go past Oct based on what he was told, but it might, for me, he was saying the revenues are close. I still feel that way. I am good with that.
ALso I am heartened by the fact he said he would do a PR when it hit. I am good with that.

WE have all used that in describing an expectation, this should happen at the latest by so and so . The delivery should happen the latest, the harvest should happen the latest, the budget will be passed at the latest, we will go on vacation the latest by, most of the time you forecast correctly sometimes especially when you take the words of others you are disappointed, The car should be fixed by the latest ...
Our CEO feels we are close to revs and can happen anytime he thought it would have been last month it is so close. I would much rather hear that the he doesnt know. Because he does know , he knows that the Revs a close and he is expecting them at this point anyday!
