Although ICNB is trying to be viewed as more valuable company by increasing share price, most splits fail within the first month after the split takes effect.
you are correct you lose an extraordinary amount of potential to make profits after the split. having 6 million shares @ $0.004 is the same as 24,000 shares @ $1
reading over on the other board, pretty much every investor there is doing the ever common RS song and dance of how the RS will be good for them.
people do this for many reasons. theyre either in denial of the RS, denial that their investment will fail, or simply dont understand the consequences.
If ICNB were to grow their company on the pinks naturally and let the price appreciate to $1 on its own, investors with 6 million shares would have $6 million in their portfolios.
but because theyre doing a 250:1 RS, those 6 million shares become 24,000 and the share price increases to $1. simply put, after the split, it will be impossible to earn huge profits like that.
