This tax act was not really about the psychogenic elements of this plant species but more about the impact that Marijuana’s sister, of the same species, Hemp, would have on the agricultural and paper industries. Then, this same species Cannabis sativa L got caught in the “War on Drugs” and this botanical species was further demonized and classified into a Schedule 1 controlled substance under the Controlled Substance Act of 1970. The Controlled Substance Act (CSA) (1970) replaced all previous federal laws concerned with "dangerous drugs”. Comprehensive categorization of all psychoactive drugs was deemed to have abuse potentials. Hemp, the sister of marijuana, has been guilty in the name of Cannabis sativa L as a species of a botanical plant which has many advantages as a vitamin with recent global research.
Again, vitamins are substances that our bodies need to develop and function normally. They include vitamins A, C, D, E, and K, choline, and the B vitamins (thiamin, riboflavin, niacin, pantothenic acid, biotin, vitamin B6, vitamin B12, and folate/folic acid).
Vitamin CBD has been at work in our biological make-up without a true appreciation until recent research done outside the United Sates of America has forced a new look at an old friend. The science is complex and not the purpose of this article.
