I think the reason IPIX didnt ultimately get funding for K from that BP yet is one of the things I had in my earlier post; they are minimizing risk for themselves. I think they know what K has the potential to be, but they are going to reduce the odds of failure by waiting on IPIX to prove the science further. Also, they are looking out for their bottom line; so it makes sense they are also waiting to see if IPIX can succeed as a company. If they cannot make ends meet financially and, god forbid, have to file for bankruptcy or are so desperate for funding to keep going, then the BP has the upper hand and can force Leo into a less than desirable deal for IPIX, but a great deal for the BP. I hope that is not the case, but I would not put it past a global pharma to squeeze the crap out of IPIX in order to get what they want. Sorry to be pessimistic, but the only people looking out for IPIX are the management team and loyal shareholders.
