"Having SFOR products on Intel TPM chips is a big deal for sure! Wow! "
Not criticizing, just explaining.
That statement might lead one to believe a SFOR Program is built into the TPM Chip, which it is not.
Sorry, we may know, but people unfamiliar (i.e. newbies) may get a different Idea. Just trying to keep facts Straight Forward for everyone.
A SFOR PRODUCT IS NOT ON THE TPM.
IF YOUR PC HAS A TPM CHIP AND IF YOU HAVE SFOR GuardedID IT WORKS, As GuardedID can be loaded into the TPM During the Boot Process and is secured, preventing malware/virus from interfering with or turning it off.
Only the RSA Key to Allow GuardedID to be loaded is on the TPM Hardware Chip. Which in itself is a Biggie.
