Guess what the great new trend is for people with awful bowel problems, including c. difficile infections? (c. difficile kills lots of people -- often results from antibiotics killing off all the good bacteria in your gut so the bad stuff (c.diff) takes over).
Well, whoopee. They've decided that people who have these physical diseases are helped most by.... drumroll.... psychological counseling.
Isn't that just great? They don't have good treatments for it, so if you get sick, you must be nuts, because you keep saying you're sick (just because you have diarrhea all the time). Therefore, check 'em into the psych ward.
I literally couldn't believe what I was hearing.
I wonder how many people, faced with a choice of Brilacidin-UP or psychological counseling, would choose the shrink?
