I can say this with confidence knowing the shorts expected this company to be bankrupt by now. The reason companies go public to begin with is to be able to raise capital to grow and expand the company by selling stock. NTEK has been unable to do that for a long long time as the shorts flooded the market by selling hundreds of millions of counterfeit shares driving down the stocks value.
The shorts continue to be liable for every one of those markers that sit in our accounts and the fact that David Foley has been able to survive to date keeping them liable is driving them nuts.
The FINRA numbers I report daily are indicative to me that longs are not selling. If any are, they are no doubt selling markers not real shares. As long as this company survives the shorts carrying costs continue and they remain liable should things turn around. If and its a big if David gets the funds needed to clean things up and move forward it would be devastating to those that are short. Naked shorting is criminal and the regulators who could stop it as was done in Europe have been captured but that too could change in a heartbeat.
Don't think David is driving the shorts nuts? Go read the last 100 posts at the swamp and understand that nobody and I mean nobody posts without having a vested interest. Go NTEK!!!
(One last thing, the reason the present price is not even lower is because some longs continue to buy large chunks from time to time otherwise we would be at no bid)
