No, it should never have happened in the first place.
Any business that wants to succeed doesn't undercut its suppliers and thus, its own profitability, by bashing the products it plans to sell. Any thought otherwise is rank stupidity.
I'm sorry if that sounds mean, but it's just a fact. If you want your business to succeed, don't do stupid stuff in public.
What ACI did on Friday was incredibly dishonest and incredibly, irretrievably stupid.
