Whoever is running the conference is the one makin

Whoever is running the conference is the one making the invitations. As positive as I am toward the science and IPIX, the likeliest scenario is that the committee putting the conference together reviewed available information and invited companies to present if they had promising data. I wouldn't assume that one of the sponsoring companies had anything to do with it.
