The manner in which whoever is behind the ACI twitter account handled this situation tells me they are more penny stock flipper than legitimate smartphone distributor.
Any business person that immediately blasts to the Twitterverse an issue with a product and/or service without allowing the vendor sufficient time to resolve the issue is a customer I would never want to deal with again....regardless of the source of the mix up.
Further, the lead up and timing of the tweet was DEFINITELY constructed to do maximum damage to ANDI's share price...at least in the very short term......especially considering we had just hit .0023 and would likely continue to build buzz over the weekend and early next week.
My hot take in a nutshell.......the ACI clowns are penny traders who set up/used this shell company to make themselves look like a potential distributor in order to get their hands on the phones, if there ever were going to be any phones, before other retail investors.
They received the phones now and despite them not being branded they realize ANDI will, in fact, be selling smartphones around the globe and they decided at that point they needed more shares at a discount so what better way to stifle yesterday's run than tweet out a perceived negative that the phones are "generic."
Does anyone really care if the phones say Utopya on them if the company does sell hundreds of millions of $$$ worth of phones and the share price goes to .25+? I don't.
Think an unbranded phone seller can't succeed in the market while making its shareholders filthy rich? Ask the investors/owners of Foxconn, lol!!!
These were likely a few pre-production phones used for marketing and these ACI clowns twisted the situation to benefit their trading patterns.
How can I be so sure? One, I have been around this penny trading game, and business in general, for 20-25 years. Two, while ACI has made multiple negative comments about the phone hardware they have yet to address the software, which was always supposed to be the draw to ANDI/UTOP's phones.....but hey, when your intent it to stifle the run in share price and collect discounted shares why address any potential positives, right?
Heading to Amsterdam on business this week, but will check in whenever possible which likely won't be much...holding mid 50M shares now and if the games continue I will take my position to 60M+.
ACI's tweet should be viewed as independent (depending on who controls ACI) confirmation of th existence of the phones....to me that is a HUGE positive....not a harbinger of impending doom as some on this, and likely the other board, are framing it.
