"I met Richard, the sales manager for Five Star and a 13-year employee of the company. Immediately i could tell he really knew his stuff and while he was clearly a sales type guy he wasn't a flashy in your face kind of salesman in a suit. He is the kind of guy that you need in this business, a guy who can answer pretty darn technical questions, while also being able to close.

I had asked a couple of questions about Mr. Clayton and Mr. Marshall. It turns out i learned something i did not know. Jason Clayton is the step son of Mike Marshall. And Jimmy Joslin, Executive Vice President, who i would later meet, is the younger half brother of Mike Marshall.

At this point i would like to clarify something about Mr. Marshall. I was under the impression that he was an older gentleman, possibly winding down a long distinguished career, someone Jason and Jimmy and anyone else could come to for sage advice. And while the latter may be true, he is not slowing down, and he is not old. He is in his 60's and the guys i talked to all said he is there every day and involved in all operational decisions, and is sharp as a tack. Everyone had good things to say about him and they love working for him and all the upper management of Five Star/ORF. One of the guys mentioned Marshall "could sell ice to the eskimos" and he could pretty much answer any question anyone had. He is clearly very well respected. Sadly, I missed him by 10 minutes as he had a lunch meeting off-site."

thanks for info Chase Dog
