***Upon the completion of this phase of testing, pre-clinicalscreening of organ preservation and metabolic effects of PKX-001 will be undertaken in transplant ready cardiac tissue. The overarching goal of this project is to develop PKX-001 as a cardioprotective agent with wide ranging applications in cardiovascular medicine.
