I think the acronym you created speaks for itself.

I never used to think of the South as anything but an 'economically challenged' part of the country with a prolonged hangover from the Civil War and Jim Crow.
But as the article I posted confirms, I've already stepped up for the '500'.
I never have begrudged those who rely on SS, SSI, Medicare, SNAP and earned unemployment benefits. Just figured it was part of our nation's 'social contract' to look out for each other.
I never let documented abuses of all of the above to cause me to want to 'throw out the babies with the bath water'.
But I never fully understood how those who most revile where I live and what I believe are also the ones most dependent upon the wealth generated, and redistributed, from where I live.
Love to see the next Dem president call the bluff of SR SUM and just let you go. No more Federal government for the pissers and moaners about same. 'P & M's'?
Also no more SS, SSI, Medicare..... all of it for those who vote for people like Trump while heaping contempt on your real 'benefactors'.
Shut down the TVA, move the CDC and no more FEMA either.
'Dependent upon the kindness of strangers' I believe is the accurate description of the relationship between the 'strangers', Blue State America, and its 'beneficiaries'.
THAT'S what the article(s) are all about.
Cognitive dissonance is a painful mtrfkr, eh?
