There are many large trades, for instance 25, shares, and then closely followed by another large trade of the same size, but at one cent difference. One time would be a coincidence, seeing this many times, not so much.
Those paired trades sometimes are different by one cent. Daytraders are happy with small, fast profits which are totally possible on trades of that size, and when the share price is low, it makes it possible for them to do it without much risk.
My hope is that when one of them sells short, intending to buy back, that they won't get the opportunity to buy it back lower but instead will lose money on it. So far they've been able to whack it down. That could change literally instantly.
