i hear you and I am a bit skeptical myself. But I do know that when i was part of a new company 20 years ago. We never tried to market to people, we only tried to market to distributors. It was the best use of resources and it worked. The company didn't go to a trade show for the first 5 years in business, they go to all of them now. IMO Utopya isn't going to market to retail until they already have market and cash in hand. Only then is it necessary. Until then, they want to sell to distributors and let the distributors do the marketing. I never heard of Huawei until my mom brought one home from Consumer Cellular a few years ago. This is actually the best way to use money to market when you are starting up. After all, Utopya isn't selling the phone to you or I, they only care if distribution buys them .
