I believe the surveillance technology has increased greatly since those well publicized 'wedding party' drone strikes under Bush.
As it was, Obama's reign of drone delivered death, upon mostly terrorists, never did work to bury the bat shit charges from the GOPERS about the 'secret Muslim' in the WH.
And of course dispatching the SEALS to shoot bin Laden in his face, in his home, didn't quiet that crap either.
If Bush had pulled it off we'd be having parades to commemorate the event every year.
