Couldnt agree more...only time a family member turned some money over for "professional management", the chump lost a huge amount of it...turned out he had just retired from pro athletics, had some connections and got a good job at a brokerage....eventually realized we all knew more about investing then he did, and its been generally smooth sailing ever since
