Outstanding Audience Reaction to SNEAK PEEK of "Dogpatch USA" Feature!
Greetings HHSE Friends & Followers - Last night in Fort Smith, Arkansas, Hannover House hosted the first of several "sneak peek" screenings of the feature documentary "DOGPATCH U.S.A" in advance of the film's commercial theatrical release.
The audience response was superb and the turn out was # 1 out of all films at the multiplex. Over 100 of the attendees also posed for photos with the Costumed Characters of LIL ABNER and DAISY MAE, and we are already seeing a huge reposting of these images across social media platforms (part of our marketing strategy to create a word-of-mouth BUZZ for the film's release).
DOGPATCH USA was one of the first theme parks in America. Located in rural Arkansas - and inspired by the Hillbilly characters created in the classic comic strip LIL ABNER - the theme park was a major tourist destination for almost 20-years, before facing competitive pressure and financial collapse from nearby attractions at Branson, Missouri and Silver Dollar City. The site is an Arkansas legend, with widespread awareness and affection by residents.
