I was at Verizon when the gov't reached out to VZ and AT&T to help with the new epidemic of DD. Their response was pitiful. Basically a bribe of sorts. They put up $10M (maybe each - I don't recall) for the infamous "It Can Wait" program that appealed to the drivers senses to just voluntarily wait. It obviously had no impact or we wouldn't be having this discussion.
