Conspiracy theories linking Rich to the email leaks remain a staple of far-right social media conversations, despite an utter lack of evidence to support them.
The promulgators of these theories believe Seth Rich’s murder was connected to the emails.
The Times’ retraction is part of a settlement reached in a lawsuit brought by Seth Rich’s brother, Aaron Rich, whom the Times also implicated in the WikiLeaks affair. Read more
