I completely agree Idig. Univec is not dependent on Merck. While I am intrigued by the obvious friendship between Kenneth Frazier (CEO of Merck) and Dr. Dalton (CEO of Univec), I don't see why a statement made on LinkedIn should become our end all for every discussion. When I look at Sterling Crockett, Bruce Goldman, and others at AGRiMED I am struck by how easily they would be giving up their dream if a buyout were offered to them. A partnership makes so much more sense to me, but I am not certain Merck would even want a partnership.
BTW the way, on a totally different topic, Canopy Growth is no long the worlds largest cannabis company measured by market cap. Aurora is now the largest at 11 billion dollars.
