Naturally, after their stunt the women were inundated with interview requests.
“People need to know that when they take action, when we take action together, when we force our electeds to listen to our stories, that’s how we actually change this country. .?.?.
That struggle looks like this: regular people doing really scary things, things that make them cry, that sometimes scare their families,” Archila told The Washington Post Friday.
The Post indicated that the women were, indeed, sexual assault survivors and that Archila’s family did not know of her experience until the confrontation with Flake.
“I feel like in that forceful demand, he was called to examine his position again. .?.?. He heard something that provoked turmoil in him,” the 39-year-old native of Colombia said.
She also reflected on the encounter in a video and in interviews.
“I think he wanted to be anywhere else but in that elevator… he had a really hard time looking me in the face.”

Ana Maria Archila, who confronted Sen. Flake in an elevator, says she had a message he needed to hear.
“I wanted him to really stay there and be present and think of the people he loves… And I wanted him to be a hero. To show up for his children. For my children. For myself.” pic.twitter.com/hXoF6tvlMR

The left celebrated their new heroes and the effect they had on Flake.

Thank you Ana Maria Archila & Maria Gallagher for your bravery. You changed the outcome today and taught women and girls everywhere the power of using your voice. #brave

But many others found the planned confrontation and the Soros-backing telling and condemned the encounter on Twitter.
When is Soros going to be stopped from interfering with our Government. The Dems scream about Russia but it’s ok for this man and his money to continue to disrupt our political system? Unbelievable!!!

The two ladies did nothing. But hurt the chances for other survivors. Flake was on the fence from the beginning and their deliberate attack on Flake was a grotesque display of the uniformed triggered liberals. It was a calculated predisposition attack set up by the Left. SHAM!

It was disgusting. They should have been escorted out or arrested.

And #BrettKavenaugh gets mocked for saying millions of $$$ from left wing groups are trying to take him down. And @JeffFlake helps!
