MSFT was both a blessing and a curse. The MSFT se

Phonefactor was the primary lawsuit that was filed. Why? For the same reason we are not yet going after Apple, Google, etc. (they would crush SFOR just from the amount of time these monster companies would drag out the legal process). So BR had the right intentions until they realized in the summer of 2015 that they had to go after MSFT.
Blessings :
- SFOR was able to settle (MSFT knew they would likely lose)
- SFOR received lump sum $$ that kept them going (No where near what they should have received)
- Ended the litigation that could have put them out of business (MSFT could have dragged this in court with SFOR to this day)
- SFOR licensed the product to MSFT (this proves the power of the technology and legitimized the claims moving foreward)
- Ropes & Gray got involved (they now see a winner at this point)
- Opened up the door to the next 7 lawsuits
- ACS only finalized their GID/MT deal after the MSFT settlement (While i'm not sure, I believe they were closely tied)
- SFOR product plays key part in securing MSFT clients world wide (doesn't look to bad on SFOR's resume)
- SFOR paid off toxic debt (how many pink sheets do this? great sign of loyalty to shareholders)
- Brought many eyes to this little ticker
Curses:
- Should have gone all the way in court with MSFT (just like we are now against the current defendants)*
- SFOR should have probably received many times more $$ than the $9.7M.
- The license agreement should be making SFOR millions per month (SFOR close to running out of $$ and had to take the crap deal, as per 10‑k)
* This would have cleared the path for all the lawsuits moving foreward and at the 2016 shareholders meeting I let Kay have it, because of it.
But think of everything SFOR has done since the settlement with MSFT.
I don't know of any other ticker trading at $0.02ish with all the possabilities SFOR has going forward.
Newbies need to just keep one thing in mind, Duo (just one of dozens infringing on IP that we license to MSFT) is in the process of being bought out for $2.3B(ish) by Cisco. That alone would value SFOR at $1.00 ish per common share.
The court decissions will ultimately tell the tale of this possable Cindarella story. If we win these court cases, our heads will be spinning from all the articles and the talk on Wall street about this sleeping beauty.
I agree with your post.
As always, IN My Opinion
