The second point I remember is that if something is good for you, eat the whole thing. Like a carrot, eat the top and I read the skin has some good things too. Pumpkins, heck they sell tons of pumpkin seeds.Onions, eat the skin. A fish, eat the whole thing, but you had better grind up the bones so they don't get stuck in your throat, lol.
