"I'm calling from Sen. Susan Collins'Washington D.C. office" is the phrase that got Don Quixote's attention this AM. So began a long & detailed conversation starting with thanks for my writing the other 99 US Senators in support of her SAFE Act. During it, I underscored that MFA/OOBA is exactly what is needed to defeat the GRU key logger threat! (I suggested this senior staffer read the joint 17 intelligence report that concluded key loggers are what the GRU used in '16. She said she would) She also said she would watch a You Tube video about anti-keylogger defensive software for background info. Lastly, I requested Sen. Collins to please consider including a requirement for MFA/OOBA in the final wording of the SAFE Act. Like Sen. King's staffer (who called me last week) she stated she would talk to Sen. Collins about the need for MFA/OOBA to counter key loggers.
Don Quioxte must now go back to writing his hundred letters in support of Sen. King's co-sponsored Secure Elections Act. He had learned to never underestimate the power of a sincere, well written letter. Adios until his next Senate battlefield report. It is good to be fighting along side Angus!
