There has been no communications regarding the sale of Lifescan to Platinum Equity.
And yes, there are tools that KB can use to stall that sale.
I'm also under the impression that Platinum Equity is borrowing a significant amount of money for the deal. This has led many to speculate that the people loaning Platinum Equity the cash want to make sure there are no loose strings.
