Denise did a great webinar on notifiNPO last night

She said they soft launched notifiNPO. This is what I expected like they did with notifiEDU. Put it out there, get feedback, use those results to showcase when you launch.
She also said donations are already rolling in for Utica Zoo. Keep in mind there is a phone dialer in the video to contact and make a donation. Those I don't think will show up on the gofundme site.
Denise said she was very familiar with the Make a Wish Foundation having done things with them for years. She pulled up one of their videos from youtube and quickly added interactivity so demonstrate how easy it was.
The most important part of the webinar was not what she showed, but what she said. Many of the videos are not created with asking for money in a way that would solicit even more donations with interactivity and speaking to your audience directly about it. Meaning, "Click here to give a $# donation...". You could actually do like I've seen at the supermarket where it gives you suggested choices to make $1 $5 $20 as one example.
She also said nFusz is not talking a cut on the donations. I never really thought about it, but GoFundMe makes a killing.
"GoFundMe is a for-profit company. It takes 5 percent of donations raised on its platform. There is also a 2.9 percent payment-processing fee collected on each donation, along with 30 cents for every donation. That means if a campaign raised $1,000 through 10 donations of $100 each, GoFundMe would collect about $82."
