This deal does not depend on the passage of the farm bill. It will be announced when the regulatory work is finished, and it is ALL about Mexico regulation, not U.S. regulation. The company has already set up the shipping/sales against the current farm bill provisions (current U.S. law), which will remain in effect until such time that the new bill finally passes. Hopefully that will happen prior to October 20th, but if not, it won't stop this deal.
