No, that's not clear at all as I was one of those 'Catholic boys'; having graduated from a an all boys parochial HS
'Other priorities' doesn't mean 'no interest'. And then you're left the gamut of behaviors up to an including what Kavenaugh is accused of.
Your inability to imagine experiences outside of your own, and your credence in anecdotal information, makes you an unreliable observer of human behavior.
The only people who piss on a liberal arts degree are those incapable of attaining one.
Rest assured though, your David had to take enough 'core courses' to graduate.
Disparaging learning how to read and write with comprehension and clarity, and how to think and present more clearly, is foolish.
