Another packed arena in Springfield, MO. tonight.
They waited outside for hours, many of them through intermittent rain.
The most dedicated supporters stood on an arena floor for more than two hours to see President Donald Trump. The President held a “Make America Great Again” rally in Springfield at JQH Arena on the Missouri State University campus on Sept. 21.
Both Hawley and Trump claimed that thousands of would-be attendees were turned away because JQH Arena was at capacity. The arena has 11,000 seats, plus standing room on the floor.
Congressman Billy Long, R-Missouri spoke to the crowd before the president took the stage.
“ This president is the hardest working individual I have ever met in my life,” Long said. “This guy has more energy than anyone I have ever worked with in my life. He didn’t need this job. He done pretty decent in life until he took this position, so he’s here for you.”
