Protagonist to receive a $50 million upfront payment and potentially up to an additional $940 million in development and sales milestones; double-digit tiered royalties on net sales.
That's for an IBD drug that is not yet in phase 1 clinical testing.
SO tell me what is a SAFE/EFFECTIVE B-IBD drug worth up front? I'd say at least $200mm.

$300mm upfront deal will send the market in to a frenzy.
BTW that deal is with JNJ.
They are investing heavily in IBD drugs.
