The Suspicious Ming Suspiciously Suspects
Ming is the kind of guy always looking for a tell. Say hello to him and he starts wondering what you really mean, what do you want and how can Ming turn this to his own advantage.
So now TURV's CEO has scheduled a conference call on October 4th at 4:30 PM Eastern Standard Time. The notice says "Management will be discussing recent Two Rivers developments".
Look. It's not an end of quarter review. It's an unscheduled call. Management hasn't created this call just to tell us the water in Colorado is swell to drink and they have some to sell. They must have something specific in mind. They say they're going to be "discussing recent Two Rivers developments" and they'll be taking questions.
If it's something bad , like most companies, it would be quietly announced after a Friday close, not on a Tuesday with fanfare. Were it bad you can be sure they wouldn't be interested in taking embarrassing questions. So they think they can sandbag the ever suspicious Ming with some good news and make him chase the stock to add more to his position? Balderdash!! Ming's buying more this week and again next week before the conference call. No one can give Ming good news and think they can get away with it.
