Of course, if someone comes up with a fast dry/cure method, tandem is possible. In 2012 Jabbour came up with inkjetting one material and then another right on top which fused with the first material and created a third material. So if you inkjet one QD mix and then a second different QD layer right on top that melds with the first by a fast chemical process rather than what we think of in drying (heat) or curing (UV), then you could have a 2 layer QD film. Pure speculation!
