I own aurora stock and I was watching as it was halted as I was trying to buy more.
In the confusion my buy at $10 didn't go through. When the stock was re-started, it opened at $10.02. I missed out by two cents as the stock shot up to $11.04.
Aurora did not start the rumor about coke. It was BNN. They said they have not signed with anyone. They didn't even mention coke by name. The stock was halted so they could explain the rumor the media started.
The last time Aurora was in this position, a rumor started that they were in talks with MedLeaf. Aurora again said it was media speculation and they had not signed with anyone. Two weeks later they signed a deal with Med Leaf.
So, just because they said they have not signed with anyone today, does not mean they won't tomorrow or next week. Until a deal is official, they don't say anything.
So for all those impatient about RMHB.... the sailors steering this ship will not say anything about the Mexico deal until it is official. That's the way it's supposed to be done.
How big is the impact cannabis legalization is having?
Tilray, located in Naniamo, British Columbia Canada did their IPO in July. It could've been bought for about $18 a share. About three weeks ago they went on the Nasdaq. The first pot company from Canada to do this.
Today, Tilray was up $34.95 a share to close at $154.98.
Had you bought 5000 shares at $18 in July they would be worth $774,900 right now.
In an interview, the CEO of Tilray said he has no interest in being bought out by any beverage company like coke or U.K. alcohol giant Diageo. He said he wants to be that 100 million dollar company, not sell to one.
Gotta love his attitude. Short sellers keep waiting for the stock to crash and it keeps going up. For tomorrow, the bid/ask on Tilray is already $161.00-$162.00. It will probably be $200 a share by the end of the week. It has created a lot of instant millionaires, and as a Canadian company are far from irrelevant on the world scene.
My point is, this whole Marijuana thing is going to explode around the world. It's already starting. This is the next tech boom. I really believe that.
If RMHB does things right, the stock price could skyrocket. The market is there, and the interest is there, and it's not going away anytime soon.
As hard as it is to wait, it will be more than worth it in the long run.
