Nearly 25,000 reports of 'children' engaging in murder, rape, drug and human trafficking, and prostitution were filed in Fiscal Year 2014 alone. .
According to new documents released by Judicial Watch, Health & Human Services Department officials seemed to know they were processing violent criminals, drug smugglers, and human traffickers as “unaccompanied alien children.”
Among the 224 pages released by the government watchdog organization this week were nearly 1,000 summaries of Significant Incident Reports that reveal these “Unaccompanied Alien Children” were admitted murderers, rapists, drug smugglers, prostitutes, and human traffickers.
“The documents, from the HHS Administration for Children and Families reported to the Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR), are for the approximate six-month period May to November 2014.
They were produced to Judicial Watch after a three-year delay in response to a November 12, 2014, Freedom of Information Act request. ”
Additional documents provided to Judicial Watch showed there were nearly 25,000 SIRs filed with the ORR in Fiscal Year 2014 alone. These reports include incidents of:
• UACs admitting to murder,
• UACs admitting to belonging to MS-13,
• UACs admitting to threatening others with rape,
• UACs admitting to drug smuggling,
• UACs admitting to molesting other UACs,
• UACs committing serious assault against other UACs and ORR staff,
• UACs who were raped either en route to the U.S., or after their arrival, and
• government employees who are alleged to have assaulted or had sexual relationships with UACs.
Also among the reported SIRs was one case in which a UAC was given an abortion on October of 2014 because her pregnancy was the result of a rape that occurred en route to the U.S. This abortion was reported because the federal government’s facilitation of the procedure may have violated federal law.
Judicial Watch Tom Fitton said his organization’s investigation was prompted by the 2014 “wave” of unaccompanied children arriving at the southern U.S. border, and reports that one HHS contractor, Baptist Children and Family Services, was providing consumer electronic devices to these children as “essential” items. He further added:
“The Obama administration presided over a humanitarian and public safety nightmare in its handling of ‘unaccompanied alien children.
The incident reports also support the Trump administration’s contention that the UAC crisis, which continues, includes murderers, rapists, drug smugglers and human traffickers being routinely allowed into the United States.”
Fitton said Judicial Watch is still investigating other incidents of violence, drug trafficking, human trafficking, and other criminal activity involving UACs.
