DRAPER, Utah, Sept. 14, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Flexpoint Sensor Systems, Inc. (FLXT) is pleased to announce a new Cologuide presentation from their strategic Partner, Haemoband Ltd. as Haemoband readies for the commercial launch of the product. The Cologuide, utilizing patented Bend Sensor® technology, can be used with almost any make of colonoscope and uses Bluetooth wireless technology to send the data from the procedure.
Haemoband Surgical identified Flexpoint technology as the appropriate technology for this application. Because of their unique expertise in bend sensor technology, Flexpoint was subsequently appointed as the principle subcontractor for the project and has enjoyed working in a collaborative effort with Haemoband on this and other medical applications for the past several years.
