Several years ago, many familiar names from what was then the CTIX board elsewhere, but what of course is now the IPIX board, were touting the stock AVXL on the AVXL message board over there. It would be hard to characterize it as anything other than pumping. The very same names who were claiming that CTIX's intellectual property was worthless, Kevetrin was "just water," etc., were claiming that AVXL's untested possible Alzheimer's drug was the next huge thing, stock price would go to the moon, blah blah blah. Some CTIX bashers claimed they had sold their CTIX and put all their money into AVXL. ClayTrader got in on it, and AVXL ran from in the 2's up to 11 very quickly, with a spike up to 15. Then, all those posters disappeared, and AVXL tanked. Then, they appeared, pumping away again, and up it went again. And, a 3rd time. Here's a chart -- it's obvious where the pumping was;

Now we are seeing known traders'-gang multi-identities, and new identities, suddenly posting here. Some of those identities posted supposedly bullishly, but were soft bashing. At least one of those identities is trying to re-make itself as an apologetic former basher.
Attention multi-identity posters: if you are trying to position yourself to try to do a pump job on IPIX as was done on AVXL, it is a wasted effort. Good news will send the stock so high that no pumping is needed.
And if you are trying to position yourself so that you can bash again, one must ask oneself: why would someone sell short a stock trading at these levels?
Genuine short-sellers try to find a stock that has many dollars' worth of downside, so that they can profit greatly -- especially if they are able to use put options to do so. They do a quick hit, grab their profits, and move on. Why would someone try to short a stock down here?
And the only answer can be: there is a hidden agenda, such as trying to help another entity make a deal with the low-priced company at rapacious terms.
And let's also remember: if the FBI can find hackers in other countries and charge them, they can track these people down too.
