not at all similar to the device that the CEO posted on twitter...
The old OBD2 plug has a small chip (made by Raytac Corp in Taiwan) that is basically a chip antenna for bluetooth, sending signals from the OBD2 port on context engine to the device app. It only needs to connect to two locations on the OBD port for receiving info. Pretty simple communication.
This new product looks like it does much more.
This tech is evolving under our very noses IMO.
App updates have been ongoing since I first began testing. You don't make these kinds of investments into improvements without some real market opportunities for the product.
