Relax, Trump and Pence are not going to leave. Pence, for his part is remaining quiet because he knows there is a chance that the Dems will win the midterms. Trump, for his part, is too dimwitted and can't control his ADD long enough to NOT mention impeachment or what would happen if he resigned; Although he did say it would be the biggest ratings of all time, there is that.

Pence would become President with an impeachment or resignation, and I still do not believe that will happen; should the Dems even win the House and Senate, which is not a lock. Pence is shrewd with his silence because he knows Trump likes to stick his foot in his mouth at any and every turn; it's what an impulsive, immature narcissist does, and he doesn't wish to be cast with the Trump stain should things goes South.

I could be wrong here, and I have said this before with some push-back, but I think Pence would be a better steward for the conservative agenda (not much better, but how the hell can we do worse then the shit bag in charge now). Not a braggart, having scruples and some sense of morals without the need to go on Twitter rants like a petulant child to put people down, and someone who could assure allies and perhaps even use some intellect in making policy decisions.

Instead, and I'm sure much to your agreement, we have the current asshole who is making a mockery of the WH. But hey, he's our asshole!
