Answer to #4-the call has already been made, to McAfee. The US State Department has a Bureau established in 1947. Their Bureau of intelligence and research (INR) has the mission to harness intelligence to serve our diplomats. You'll recall the McAfee PR dated 5/31/18. It states "This agreement will provide McAfee brand name hardware, software, and services for DOD, US Intelligence community and USCG activities worldwide". It also states "The US federal government is currently replacing all (Russian inc.) Kapersky Lab products that it previously used, following a September 2017 DHS ban ordering all state agencies and departments to stop using them over their potential threat to internal security" All I can say gimli is what I 've said before. The McAfee replacement to Kapersky is in the procurement pipeline. INR along with all the other intel agencies will get it, in time. Sure, I wish the procurement cycle could be sped up but unless the item is deemed critical for an ongoing operation, it can't. Sorry to be the bearer of this bad news. Don't shoot the messenger!
