ZN leases the drill pad from a religious kibbutz,which formed in the 1930's as part of the zionist aliyah to israel to create a homeland and for safety-hitler and his ultimate solution plan to exterminate the jews was rising
Britian had received a league of nations mandate ca 1920? after the 1917 balfour declaration to create a jewish homeland but in latter years -to appease the arabs- whose nationalism and political ambitions arose in the 1920's as a result of ww1
due to Britians blockade -keeping jews out while hitler was killing them-perhaps millions of jews died unnecessarily
many believe that britian lost its remaining anointing and worldwide empire as a judgment for such
so the jews who formed the kibbutz had to flee europe etc. All they had was their religion -something that had uniquely held jews together since they lost their national independence in 586 bc and starting in 63 bc under the romans .
