Newly Released Texts Show FBI Leaked Information T

Newly released text messages from the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee show that senior members of the FBI and Department of Justice leaked damaging information to intentionally harm President Donald Trump.
The bombshell revelation came on Monday in an explosive piece from Fox News contributor Sara A. Carter, who reports that Rep. Mark Meadows, R-N.C., sent a letter to Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein saying a “review of the new documents raises grave concerns regarding an apparent systemic culture of media leaking by high-ranking officials at the FBI and DOJ related to ongoing investigations.”
The documents present the credible case that senior DOJ and FBI officials coordinated to leak damaging information on Trump to the media, helping fuel the endless Russia “collusion” conspiracy theories.
Carter reports that the leaks pertained to information regarding the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court warrant to obtain a spy warrant on short-term Trump campaign volunteer Carter Page.
Below are just two examples of messages regarding leaks that Meadows touched on in his letter to Rosenstein:
April 10, 2017: (former FBI Special Agent) Peter Strzok contacts (former FBI Attorney) Lisa Page to discuss a “media leak strategy.” Specifically, the text says: “I had literally just gone to find this phone to tell you I want to talk to you about media leak strategy with DOJ before you go.”
April 12, 2017: Peter Strzok congratulates Lisa Page on a job well done while referring to two derogatory articles about Carter Page. In the text, Strzok warns Page two articles are coming out, one which is “worse” than the other about Lisa’s “namesake”.” Strzok added: “Well done, Page.”
Here’s what she reports on SaraACarter.com:
The letter notes the troubling nature of the text messages. Former Deputy Director Andrew McCabe was fired by Attorney General Jeff Sessions after a scathing report from the DOJ Inspector General Michael Horowitz’s investigation charging McCabe with lying to investigators and leaking to the press. Last week, the DOJ announced that McCabe is currently under a Grand Jury investigation.
The letter notes that the two text messages in April 2017 were during the same time frame as the FBI and DOJ officials were having conversations with reporters. During that time the Washington Post “broke a story on the Carter Page FISA application on April 11, 2017, setting off a flurry of articles suggesting connections between President Trump and Russia.”
Meadows, who is also Chairman of the Freedom Caucus, is also demanding that the DOJ turn over more emails and text messages of other senior DOJ and FBI officials.
Meadows is calling for additional documents, communications, and information between Peter Strzok, Andrew McCabe, Lisa Page, Bruce Ohr, and Andrew Weissmann to provide more insight on how the Russia investigation began.
The FBI, Congress, and Special Counsel Robert Mueller have been investigating alleged allegations of Trump-Russia collusion for more than two years, and there has not been a shred of evidence that Trump broke any laws.[ /b]
However, there’s strong evidence suggesting that senior FBI and DOJ officials went to extraordinary measures to harm Trump before and after he took office, and they used the media to spread misinformation to help them do so.
