We know Michael Welch spoke often with Gerry David, but his (and maybe Kevin's) major contribution may have been in recognizing and thwarting the seriously flawed Chinese "partnership" which may have proven disastrous if pursued further down what was apparently a rabbit hole now occupied by poisonous snakes.
Time will tell, but if they were a major contribution toward our split from that iffy arrangement, then we got our money's worth, but to continue to cough up big bucks for business advice they already have in house may not be the best way to spend that money moving forward.
I have seen and heard clues that suggest we could see changes that may come as a shock to investors that have been mistakenly assigning credit for much of the company's success to the wrong people.
Without knowing inside details, that would pretty much be all of us. I know the company is in good hands, so I personally believe that whatever they decide to do will be what's best for company growth and increasing shareholder value.
