Solar Wind Energy Tower, Inc. Reports Significant Results at the Pilot Site

, the innovator and creator behind the Solar Wind Downdraft Tower structures capable of producing abundant, inexpensive, renewable electricity to meet the world's increasing demand, announced today that significant progress was achieved at the pilot site.
In conjunction with Solar RePurposing, LLC, the Company completed the installation of the water pumping and spraying system yesterday at the 400' pilot tower project. When weather conditions are favorable for testing, a series of tests will be performed and recorded. At the conclusion of the installation yesterday the system was activated while the climbing team was still in place. The system performed as designed. Although the weather conditions were not conducive to good comparative testing, and the monitoring equipment will not be installed until testing begins, within minutes demonstrative cold downdraft winds began forcing their way down the tower and out the wind tunnel. Solar RePurposing, the Company, and the industry professionals present were all extremely impressed with the immediate results.
