Grand Jury Impaneled to Investigate Fired FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe
A Grand Jury has been impaneled to investigate fired Deputy Director of the FBI, Andrew McCabe.
Federal prosecutors in Washington are using a Grand Jury to investigate whether McCabe purposely misguided officials over his role in unauthorized disclosures to The Wall Street Journal.
The Grand Jury was impaneled months ago and so far more than one witness has been summoned who may have to testify against McCabe.

Federal prosecutors have for months been using a grand jury to investigate former FBI deputy director Andrew McCabe — an indication the probe into whether he misled officials exploring his role in a controversial media disclosure has intensified, two people familiar with the matter said.
The presence of the grand jury shows prosecutors are treating the matter seriously, locking in the accounts of witnesses who might later have to testify at a trial. But such panels are sometimes used only as investigative tools, and it remains unclear if McCabe will ultimately be charged.
Attorney General Jeff Sessions fired Andrew McCabe on March 16th, just hours before he was set to retire with a big fat pension.
Inspector General Michael Horowitz released a scathing report on McCabe in mid-April, accusing the disgraced FBI official of lying under oath to government officials.
The report by the Office of Inspector General criticizes McCabe for “lack of candor” regarding his disclosure to Wall Street Journal reporters before the 2016 election.
McCabe lied at least three times under oath, he lied to the Inspector General and lied to James Comey.
Shortly after Horowitz released his report on McCabe, it was revealed the IG sent a criminal referral for Andrew McCabe to the US Attorney’s office about the FBI’s investigation into the Clinton Foundation.
Andrew McCabe, Comey and the other Deep State coup plotters should be in prison.
