It is understood that a human society is made up of humans.
The difference is as you already know
A person King has no standing here..
You know all that if you took any jr high school
class that included American History.
The reference to law instead of people has always referred
to the divine authority of a clan verses us individual-people..
we have all known that.
Including that you and yours are coming and going gone
and the laws have not changed a bit (due to whim or anything like it )
