Time frames are different depending on your strategy. Pretty basic. Short, medium, and long term. Some people have suggested concentrating on the long term. It's a good strategy but hard to predict a certain outcome. If you're long you like the long term possibilities here. Medium term is a few months or a few quarters. We have events to look forward to in the medium term. Short term is what gets most in trouble. This is where the nerves frazzle with the volatility inherent in this space. I try to focus on the medium term, let the long term take care of itself, and survive short term thrill rides by keeping enough cash to take advantage of sales.
